I don't like handhelds......and you're system is pretty dated. Upgrading it wouldn't make it alot more servicable than it already is.

6800GS > X1950pro > 8800GT > 460GTX > HD6470M > HD7700GHZ

As always, "better" is too relative and subjective a term for anyone to answer this question definitively for you. Considering that you're trying to compare two very different gaming platforms, allow me to change the question: How important is portability to you? If you want to play games in the car, on the beach, or whereever, even though the games might not be as technically advanced, then the PSP is your choice. If portability means less than more advanced games, then the PC is probably going to give you a better experience.

For me, the PC is the clear winner. For someone else, it may not be.

Well, how about you ask yourself this...Do you want something portable, that can play music and movies too..or not?

I have a PSP, and obviously, PC...

I love the psp for when I'm not able to play on my PC..esp when I'm at work.lol

Definetely go with the PSP if you spend a lot of time away from wherever you might set up your PC. PC games usually provide more depth into games, as well as socializing as well. PC would be the way to go if you have some money and time to burn.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

The main factor is...What do you do and where are you alot of the time. If you are away from home and havent the time to it infront of your PC then i would say the PSP would more suite you. However if you have the time and money to maintain a PC and play games on it i would go for the PC route as you can do a world of things on a pc compared to a PSP.

Depends what you want.. PsP as all handhelds will go out of style in a pretty short time... they make new ones way too often. PC upgrade to nearly the highest quality parts will get you alot further in gaming. Theres a ton of new cool games coming out so I suggest the PC upgrade. PsP is more for when your out and all.. and if your out. Be with freinds your g/f or family. Dont be playing PsP!
