I forgot to mention that this was updated because I put it together to run for the time being tongue.gif

Another update now. I have successfully identified the countless lockups and GSODs that I received's source. The 7950 is defective frown.gif Luckily, the other one works 100% and perfectly! Good thing EK hasn't finished the blocks so I couldn't put them on yet tongue.gif

Now comes the waiting game for the replacement card.

If you respond to one of my posts in a very busy thread, I probably won't see it, so feel free to message me.

This is what I came up with, the only issue is the 90s, but I don't care about flow that much. The pump will be a Uber 655 (that $199 one, getting a discount one).

Hmm, interesting. My RAID 0 speeds went down from the Max 4 Gene-Z I had to the Max 4 Extreme... Do they use different Intel controllers?

If I am reading Asus' website correctly it looks like the Gene-Z uses the Intel Controller for the SATA 6Gb/s ports while the Extreme-Z uses a Marvell controller for these ports. I did have some issues on my board with the Marvell ports with my SSD and once I switched it to the Intel controlled port it was fine. You might want to check your boards out on Asus' website and see if what I saw is correct.

does the P67 not have the Intel SATA controller? I know the Extreme-Z has both intel and marvell

First of all, its the Maximus IV Extreme, not the Extreme-Z. It has 4x 3Gb/s Intel, 2x 6Gb/s Intel, and 2x 6Gb/s Marvell. I didn't use the Marvell because I know that's a whole bucket of awful especially in RAID.

Its just strange that there's such a drastic drop in some of the speeds.
