I plan on getting the XSPC Extreme 360Res w/ D5 Pump + Raystorm Electric Boogaloo Champion Edition Turbo Mode.

It comes with the Dual Bay Res and with the option to include a MCP655 as the pump.

Now I read on the forums that getting a Top for a pump really increases it's performance and efficiency.

Does the Dual Bay Reservoir act as a "Top" for the MCP655? If i'm spending that much on the kit (299 without shipping), am I just better off paying a bit more and custom building it?

I feel like i'd almost be getting the same parts as the Kit since it's so price efficient, but it only includes Compression fittings with no option for Barbs, and as a noob, I don't know how comfortable I would be with compression fittings. I feel like I might make a mistake and that's the end of my computer.

Thanks.

Yes the res has a pump top in it. I'm no sure what an Electric Boogaloo Champion Edition Turbo Mode is though.

to me compression fittings is better because you tighten it on i did a mistake cut on my tubing before and i had a compression fitting on it and i couldn't get the tube off the fitting and i put all of my strength in it and it didn't budge lol plus its fine if a little water hits your electronics i did a mistake and water fell on my gpu and it dryed off and it was fine as long as you have distilled water
this is my build if you want to look at it to get a idea just finished it 2 days ago lol.

Sorry Lol. I was just using that to describe the most expensive XSPC Kit available.
