Hi,

This site has drastically helped me with keeping my temps amazingly low. I can achieve stable 4.7 GHz.

I now have a software problem (operating system problem)...

I've Tried ALL the known fixes short of restoring Win 7 Home Editions OEM completely.

Every time I go into "Turn Windows Features On or Off" in the control panel etc etc. I get a blank space...there is nothing to check off or on...

I've tried the Microsoft BK fix thing, which repairs registry values in LOCAL MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/ blah blah blah... then I went in (after downloading "Registrar Registry Manager" to enable me to have More Than Admin rights to change Regedit values (to delete the error lines not fixed by the Fix from Microsoft shown in that file it outputs)....

After all that, I STILL have a blank in the "Turn Windows Features On and Off" Prompt....

What I am Trying to do is to install .net Framework 3.5 SP1

I believe that installing Windows 7 from my OEM disks (this is a new build as of 4 weeks ago), that it installs .net Framework 4!

I need .net Framework 3.5

But I need to be able to go into this "Turn Windows Features On or Off" as well to see if it's (3.5) is there to check it "on"

Thanks

I've tried just about everything short of a system restore.

I don't want to have to reinstall all these programs frown.gif

Not all of them.

Thanks, I've done the KB fix thing, but The repair install I haven't tried, just the regular windows repair prompt after a crash. I guess this is different? and it won't wipe my system of programs?

I'm making due without this...just without .net 3.5 I can't install certain programs

Repair install is a totally different animal than the startup repair. It will not affect your files and programs, but, certain settings in IE and Windows Explore might revert back.
