Had SpeedFan running fine in Win XP Pro SP2, but when I installed it in Win 7/64 it no longer automatically starts when the desktop comes up. I copied over all of the configuration files from my XP disk (I figured any file that was created with a time stamp after the XP install was some kind of config info) thinking that might help but it didn't. I also lost the temp readings for my HDs. But the fan control works fine (go figure).

Are there any tricks to getting SpeedFan working properly in 7/64?

I've had to put a shortcut in the startup folder to get a couple of apps running at startup. Haven't tried speedfan in win7 64 though.

Yep, put it in the startup folder. I've always had to do this with speedfan.

Thanks boys. Migrating all this stuff over to 7/64 is a bit of a pain.
