Like... in the beginning of the video, he unwraps it... it was awesome when you saw him just completely stop unwrapping it... just staring at it . that was awesome.

Then he opens the box and his face just drops. I dunno... I felt that the parents were pretty damn heartless when they thought up this prank.
Heartless? no Ingenious yes

In a couple of years they will show this kid the video and he will laugh just as much as the rest of us that found this funny. Some of us have had something like this happen to us you shouldn't expect to be rewarded when your caught doing something wrong.

It's only funny because he got the 360 in the end. If it was truly the parent's intention to not give him one, then that is a cruel joke, especially on Christmas. If I was a parent, I'm with Mootsy that I would make my kid earn it, at least to some degree (though I would enjoy it as much as him). But there's a difference between making a kid earn it and making him think he got it, he has the box in his grasp, and then give him clothes. Though, I would appreciate cool clothes almost as much as a 360...

Moral of the story, it's OK to not give your kid an expensive techno gadget for Christmas, but IMHO, it is NOT cool to make him think he got it and not give it to him.

that's not the worst thing that could happen. could be alot worse, than an empty 360 box.

I really want to give an old guy a fake giant $10,000,000 check to go to the kid's parent's house and say,"You've just won the Publisher's Clearinghouse $10,000,000 sweepstakes!" and let them be all like "OMGOMGOMG!!!1111shift+1!!!!1". Then the old guy would say,"Oh I'm sorry, this is the wrong house. This goes to your neighbor."
