Omg lol.... Pwm stands for pulse width moderation or something of that nature... it manages the DC current to co from fan speed... do the tans have 4 pins. If it dose they are Pwm fans

4-pins = DC with Pulse Width Modulation.... a PWM fan controller provides bursts of power to regulate the fan speed.
3-pin = DC with RPM monitor..... a fan controller can control fan speed by reducing voltage.
PWM use less power, provide better control, lower possible RPMs but are more complicated and less common.
What fan controller(s) do you plan to use the fans on?
