well in game gameplay probably not, but what res are you gaming on? if it's 1920x1080p you start to see a gap in benchmarks between your setup and a guy that has a different chip... say a 2500k or a 990x
But i doubt that you'll notice anything in gameplay, just in benchmarks

The only advantage the i7 860 has over the i5 750 is pretty much hyperthreading .
Iv turned it off to test games on my 870 @ 4.2 and i didnt see a difference , i load under 70c with it on anyway so turning it off is pointless , may aswel take advantage of those virtual cores .
Depends what game your playing also , alot of the newer games do take advantage of having 4 virtual cores to process data in the background while the physical ones are doing they're thing .
It all improves performance of coarse , in some applications which are multithreaded such as cinebench .. With HT 6.7 and without it get 5.0 i think .. so HT definatly helps the cpu process data faster there is no doubt about that . But for games ? maybe not as much , especially the older ones .
Newer games will use HT to its advantage , Most people are using newer processors now and HT is a big part of todays computing .. more so than what it was a few years ago , so we will see more from it in the future guarenteed .

i am saying that in certain benches... the more gpu power you have, the faster you need your cpu to be in order to fully utilize them throughout the benchmark at 99%. This applies more so if you are gaming on a lower res than say gaming at a higher res.
I don't think this applies to gameplay however, just in synthetic benches. From personal experience i get a higher fps when my 2600k is @4.9-5 Ghz than say 4ghz.
According to msi afterburner... the gpu utilization graphs are much more consistent/straight over time when my cpu is clocked higher.
oh i forgot to ask, i have a Factory PNY GTX 580 and the second one i'm getting is the Galaxy brand with the Acelero cooler. will there be any problem because they are 2 different cards
