Hi guys I am trying to purchase the final items needed for my water cooling rig and need to double check somethings on my waterblocks and bridge.
Can anyone give me a link of photo's of a referenced and a non referenced 6970? (using the search option for these terms is a bit difficult... lol)
Lastly I have decided to go with a EK Link and bridge setup for this but I am unsure on what bridge I need to run tri-fire 6970 and weather or not to go parallel or serial. which is better between the two? (I have a P67A Gigabyte UD7 B3 board)
i dont know about the ati cards but from what ive heard, serial is a couple degrees cooler than parallel, 1 or 2 degrees. with serial there is a higher flow rate, while parallel the argument is that the same temp water goes to each acrd at the same time

You actually have it around the wrong way, There is no temp difference between the two, And parallel is less restrictive then serial.
i never said anything about less restrictive(although i guess it could be interpreted that way)
by parallel i am assuming he was talking about 1 loop with the lines running to the gpus in parrallel not seperate loops for each component. if its seperate loops, then yes they would be better. if its a single loop with only 2 gpus then series would have a higher flow rate. if he gets 3 gpus then yes going parallel on the cards would be better.
it all depends on your components. here is a good read for ya link1 link2 link3
Quick question guys... I am looking for a fan controller (NOT BLUE LED) that will power my Mora 3 18 fan set-up and using some Yate Loons that say they are 12watts each. After searching around a bit I ended finding the NZXT Sentry Mix but I cant seem to find somewhere that sells this. Anyplace in US that carries this?
If not are there any other fan controllers to support this many fans?
I am looking for the Sentry Mix as it supports 50w per channel and has six channels it should be enough to power the 18 fans I have on the Mora 3 pro ( I think) although I will consider any fan controller as long as it doesn't have Blue LED and will support these fans. (Going with White Red theme)
Thanks but I am trying to get it ordered somewhere within the US. I have found 2 shops in AU but thats all. Funny, Amazon, Ebay, or other big named shops don't carry this.
Worse case scenario I may just have to purchase it from there...
Will try to hold out a little more and hope someone can find that or similar controller.
