Since summer has kicked in,temps have been rising. I live in India and room temps are nothing less than 30.c at times.Apart from cleaning the cabinet i need to reduce my core temps as i overclock a lot. I have the cooler master 335elite and so far i jus have 1 120mm exhaust fan and a 80mm intake fan. With regard to this how many more fans can i use in this cabinet? i have the athlon x2 250 and the msi radeon 6770 and both cpu and gpu are overclocked. What is the best thermal compound to use? I have heard of names such as artic silver 5,thermal fusion 400 and even the lower priced cooler master thk002. So please help me out here, any help will be greatly appreciated.
I use the Arctic Cooling MX-2 paste. It's got almost the same temps compared to the Silver 5, but it's non-conductive, meaning if you spill it on your motherboard, you aren't screwed, and you don't ahve to reapply after a while.
Also, you should get minimum two more fans (1 intake 1 exhaust), because I don't think 2 fans can push air very well.
Any of the top 25+ TIMs will produce temps. within 1-2C of each other so any of them will work just fine. There is no need to spend a lot of money or go chasing after some exotic TIM. AS 5 is perfectly fine and used by many.
I don't know how many fans that PC case can use but you might want to add at least one more fan and check before and after temps. The link below should help you to understand the many options.
Yeah that is good as i do want a thermal compound that wont destroy my gpu incase i spill a little of it on anything other but the gpu core. Should i get 2 120mm fans an if so which are the best ones which not only run fast but also provide excellent cooling?
See at the side panel there is provision for 2 more fans i guess an 80mm and a 120mm. Now the front intake fan is jus 80mm although i have provision for a 120mm one. The two fans can be added at the side, one would be facing the cpu and the other would be facing the gpu. But should keep the two fans as intake or exhaust? Thanks alot for the replies so far as well as for the links:thumb:

You probably want quiet fans that move a reasonable volume of air as high speed fans are always noisy. Everyone has there favorite brands or models. There are many to chose from. It depends on your source for PC hardware.
