sweet job! but fyi your crazy!!!! a 1k+$$ chip and u sand it down
ur crazy!!! lol
Well chances that you will crew up are Core 2 Duo chips are slims since it doesn't have pins and if you're careful, 99% of the time you won't damage it. But don't be a ****** and use the 250 grits for 2 hours with heavy pressure

I start w 800 to take it just to the start of copper the the work starts!!!! and a little trick in the end I polish it with a good all cotton cloth for about 25 mins. works wonders, all wet sanding...
Like I said my second one I lapped first one running great and still have another.
Hey Mikey you have the Mobo this one is going in how do you like it??
I know after lapping my first one, I will want to do it to all my future CPU's. It's too bad the MFG doesn't ship them that way. There is plenty of machinery out there that can do it pretty fast. Sheesh, at least make them flat! But on the other hand, that would be taking away all the fun.
