This is on everyones mind, how much VRAM should I look at when buying a video card.

Could people post how much they use when gaming in the below format

Resolution:
Detail level:
Game:
Graphics Card:
Max VRAM used:

This will help people when looking for a new graphics card.

No it won't because VRAM usage and allocation in games varies depending on how much VRAM a persons graphics card has, and also monitoring software often shows how much is allocated for use but not necessarily how much is being used and is needed, so a lot of figures people post will be meaningless.

My 1GB 6870 struggled in C2 and your results may have a bearing to it.

Sorry to revive this thread (not that it matter does it ?!)

I'm considering buying 2 second hand r9 270x and was wondering, according to that screenshot, I assume no MSAA would be less than 2gb VRAM usage then ? I guess I could remove some antialiasing too .. but I read MSAA takes alot of VRAM and also I'm not sure everyone used VSYNC when benching and I just can't play without VSYNC
