I installed winxp32, pationed a 500gb, 100/400. now i cant seem to be able to see the 400 anywere, and i really don't want to do a fresh install, after all the updates i've done.
Did you format the partition on the drive when you partitioned it? If you are in windows, right click the my computer from the start menu and go to manage, then go to the disk manager. In there you can see partitions even if they are not seen in my computer.
