3rd Graphics Card for Second Monitor

I currently have a 750w PSU with 2x GTX 260s running. I also have a 24" monitor as primary and an old 17" on the side. I noticed when I play games (only on the 24", the 17" is idling on forums or youtube) I get anywhere from a 4-15fps decrease (confirmed when benching with second monitor disabled). So if I plug in my old geforce gt 210 to handle the second monitor, will i see an fps gain similar to not having the monitor on with only 2 graphics card? Also would my PSU be able to handle a 3rd graphics card?

Thanks!

I was gonna try this with an 8400GS to power a third screen, since my 460's are in SLI, and one of them never clocks down far enough and stays 20c hotter than the other 460 due to the second monitor hooked up to it.

If the card was really low-power and it was only running a third monitor then you're probably fine, which is why I chose the 8400GS.
