Both SDHC and flashdrives will be far cheaper than CF - but a USB2 external HDD may be the cheapest... I've seen 320G ones for as little as $40. No idea if this is any good - I usually look for Patriot Flashdrives for tossing apps/games...

I wouldn't buy anything yet, except the 840 Pro. At CES both WD and Seagate announced more Hybrid drives. I figure in about 3 months there's going to be a lot more choice on the market. That probably means lower prices.
