I mean their standard "stock" units. They're labeled as garbage throughout the Internet and I'm certain that is indeed the case, but is there any factual information anywhere about them? Like who actually makes them?

In fact most modern CPUs don't need 8 pins, just 4. Connecting all 8 is just gravy for overclocking and such. You will probably want the 8 pins however since you have two CPUs.
