from xp to win 7 will feel a little weird at first but give it a week and you'll be glad you made the switch.

it dumps some of the heat into the case but is much quieter than the reference cooler and performs as well as or better than reference. I have 4890cf in my other rig (His iCooler and the xfx that you linked).

had a similar experience w/ my MSI K9A2-CF. 955c3 @ 3.8, bios had 1.58 on vcore.
