After about a year of use the surface on my g400 is wearing down. I don't really like the slick surface because I have sweaty hands( and fingers). Is it a good idea to use sandpaper to get a textured finish?

I sold my DX and bought the Z and so far I like it. I no longer get that buzzing motorcycle sound when i'm playing games and talking on vent. I mean theres still a little noise but atleast it doesn't sound like a cruiser is in my room....

Also did a quick backlight bleed test and have some lights bleeding near the bottom and outside the bezel...
Also experiencing some yellowish tint at the bottom
I've narrowed it down to the chair and my dress pants that' causing the static shock. All i have to do is stand up or sit down and I get shocked from my laptop. You guys think a leather chair will reduce static?
Everyday I go to work and move around my cubical I get shocked. My laptop is a latitude 6430 which has an exposed metal frame and i get shocked daily. I literally have to be a ninja when I get up to do something or else i get shocked....
