Uhm.. there was a recent patch for NVIDIA cards to not support CRT mode that correlates 3D working on non-NVIDIA ready 3D Monitors. I think you should have gone with a different monitor if you wanted NVIDIA 3D support. Here's a Q&A...
Wow.. I'd be so pissed off especially if something was wrong. The sad part is, this probably happens ALL the time.

I'd skip on the VG278H. There seems to be more threads here about bleeding.. and all that stuff with that monitor here not to mention it's pricey. It also has shakey reviews on newegg (there's a thread on it here). Quality wise I say...
