i have a stack of bad toshiba, hitachi and seagate drives that all have died this way. if it's still under warranty, replace the drive. if it's not, throw it away.

It's usually a sign that you should restart your laptop; I.E. you left it on standby...
does your video card have a power connector?
Load the drivers before you connect your monitor to the new card, then disable the onboard or set the PEG to initialize first.
copy and paste preserves formatting... notepad doesn't... either install a "copy as text" plugin/extension in your browser or paste into notepad first to strip the formatting...
or use two windows and TYPE your information instead of...
i don't have to forward the ports and my wife and i can play on the same server at the same time...
nix your port forwarding, it's probably the cause... let the router hand the NAT on it's own...
