You're build will be fine with the 4300. Get that new FX and enjoy the better performance.

It should work, but Asus has this on their site........................ FX-4300(FD4300WMW4MHK),3.8GHz,4C,95W,rev.C0,AM3+ ALL BIOS 1401 Edit: You won't have a problem booting to the BIOS and your OS, but only update the bios if necessary.
