Yeah the 690 will fit a 240 up top. The outside plastic bezel top just covers up the contact points.
If the budget permits a Corsair 650D would meet the specs given and is very discreet on the eyes. The middle hard drive bay is removable too for more airflow.
Myself and 3 buddies pre-ordered it. If all goes well it looks like a very promising game.
Hmm to pick this up for physx or buy a used gtx 465 for giggles off a friend. I dont think it will matter either way.

I'm quite fond of receiving my games through content managers such as Steam and EA Downloader. No Need to worry about scratched discs and no need to purchase a peripheral I don't need.
It would not work with the GTS 250 if I remember correctly. However you can use your GTS 250 as a physx card solely for the physx enabled games if you have them. I know with AMD/ATI cards it has to be in the same generation to crossfire...
