There's nothing wrong with your fan speeding up like that, unless it happens frequently or for long periods of time. And yes, it does sound like a jet plane

You can switch out the i7+5770 for i5+5850 for almost the same price and far more gaming performance. And 212/Scythe Mugen is plenty of cooling unless you plan on going past 4Ghz with the overclock.
