Sony Cybershot W300 just squeaks in under budget

I can hear a high pitched squeal from this lens, but it's not at all loud or intrusive. It's just there in the background. The loudest noise is the clunk when the VR system disengages a second after the shutter button has been released.

It's odd, I played a little L4D last night and then gave BF2 a quick spin, and as I navigated the stupid clunky server list and loaded into a game I actually thought to myself how Valve wouldn't even let a game like this get through...
