I'm just wondering cause I tested my Atoms green drives with CrystalDiskMark and at best I got 20MB/s less read than a benchmark I've searched from Google that I assume was done with a full system.
Will an Atom D2550 1.8GHz limit the amount of data read from a hard drive? Say if I use an SSD, will the read speed be limited by the CPU? Or will the Atom keep up and see no bottleneck?
Mindchill was the one that designed everything, owned the equipment. I was just incharge of the webpage and sales, and a small helpin hand with 3D modeling. I will eventually be taking it over, it's going to be a while until I have the...
No disrespect received. I plan to develop my own. Going to also be writing software so it can be controlled from windows, possibly with temperature curves or load adjusts. Its a really early idea, but it should be an experience even if I...
I think Mindchill has packed up shop. He seemed to have gotten tired of making them and wanted to move more into computer cases but I don't think he's doing those right now either. Not to worry though, once I'm out of school and have a...
Depends how you want to implement it, how good you want it to perform, and how much power you want to use. For the most part, it's all customizable, but it tends to cost more the more indepth you go. Throwing a TEC between Waterblock...
That was my Dual TEC Direct Die Block that Ultrasonic2 made. Was definitely pricey when I bought it from him lol, but the nickle plating was totally worth it At 4.2GHz with 1.44V it should be almost 200W. Overclock calculator is saying...

Quote:I don't know how to relate AMD core temp to Intel's. But nice results Krow! Do you have a sensor measuring the water temperature? Not right now. Thinking of shoving Mindchills transistor sensor down the fill port hole to intercept...
These are the TECs I'm using. They should be running at about 7.5A in the worst case. 6.5A in a normal run.
