Because an SSD needs a backplate. Everything has one these days. Next month, motherboards and hard drives will have backplates. RAM will have backplates on top of it's heat-spreaders. And yeah, it's sort of sad that RAID 0 SSD's can't...

Where did you hear MSI GPU's had bad VRM cooling? They are some of the best cards you can get. If it's not a hassle, get the TF3
