okay answering my own question ... looks like I need to upgrade to a docsis 3.0 modem ... found this one on new...

I'm running at 12mbs and want to upgrade to comcasts 50 deal... they are claiming I NEED to use their Modem and wireles router ... is this BS? I have a Motorola SB5101 modem and a WRGT54S linksys boost router

I only use logitech 2 button marble mouse trackball I was using an old green usb mouse adapter plug was getting 90hz lol ... now I'm up to ~648hz ...
