I prefer the MSI Afterburner's built in video capture. I like it better than FRAPS and it is free.

Honestly other than the CS series and the BF series there aren't any others I've played that kept my attention. Arctic Combat wasn't too bad. Its free to play on Steam. I never bought anything in game and did just as good.

FFXI is subscription based. I'd think without friends or someone to show you the rope it would be a little rough.

The only other FF MMO is FFXI. No idea on whether you would like it or not. I played it from the day it was released for a year or so but its been a long time since I played so not sure whats going on there now. As far as the regular FF...
