did you see my review of this board with the OC guide in it? a lot of tiips in there as well as timings to try: http://www.overclock.net/t/1339714/z77x-up7-performance-review-and-cpu-memory-overclocking-guide/0_20 Also set slew rate...
i would say yea, future proof for a year lol
the frequency ONLY matters on asus Z68 and P67, it is somthing with their VRM design that requires it. I think both boards have good quality VRMs, i wouldn't worry.
yea a -V Pro should have their mainstearm VRM solution which in the case of Z68 was the same LF-PAK that you see on the list, however coupled with an 8 phase control capable of driving 8 phases true. However they could have used 6 of...
oh he named it the same thing lol
okay VRm from motherboard can't provide less voltage than the iVR gives to the CPU, so its not that. One major point of the iVR is to increase the input voltage to the CPU, because a larger duty cycle(vout/vin) is easier on the VRM. We...
only the sata3G (revision 2) were affected, so try a 3rd party controller(ASMedia or Marvell) OR try the INtel SATA6G ports(Revision 3, you should have 2 of these and 4 of the SATA3G). The 6G ports are faster. 6G= SATA Revision 3. Ifyou...
that is made by EK waterblocks. Also please don't make two threads on the same subject lol.
for the eSATA make sure that the system has the windows 8 ISRT drivers. Also for the eSATA maybe change from fast boot to normal boot to initialize all the controllers.
ask yourself why the guy wants to trade his board which costs $30 more for yours?
