Indeed but your drive should TRIM automatically unless you are using XP, which you shouldn't be. Firmware updates aren't frequent so just check the drive once in a while and all should be fine.
I agree but usually the price isn't right on these hybrids, or at least not from my point of view. They are pretty expensive due to the x86 hardware and Windows. Now if AMD can make a cheaper tablet and either Ubuntu or Mint will run...
Wait with buying a GPU. Soon new series will be released and then prices on current series will drop or just get a mid range next generation. Either way you win. I am waiting to see what happens with consoles before I buy a new video...
