Has any one heard or read any tid bits that might hint to an expected release of Wildstar? ArcheAge is on my radar too, but I am not expecting that one till 2014... I am getting the MMO bug again...I was really hoping one of these...

I doubt you'd see much of a gaming difference. Provided the Phenom was getting a decent fps in the game. For the most part I can't tell the difference between my 2600k and a Q6600. If I have Vsync turned on and I am gaming at 1080p...

You'd know if a fan needs replacement...it will either not turn at all or turn really slow. Though make sure that it isn't a fan controller issue before you replace the fan. They should spin easily with your finger too when the power is...

It should be pointed out that if you use the free version of ESXi you can only have four threads per VM...even if you had two CPUs. I think you can only have up to 16GB of memory too...not sure on that though I am currently...
I'd go Intel honestly...it is pretty easy to get a Intel CPU and mother board that supports VT-d or IOMMU. Though it is annoying on the new CPUs...none of the K CPUs support it so you have to use the CPUs with a locked multiplier...
