Depends mostly on your case. If you have really good airflow get the ACX. If you don't or if you plan to water cool get the reference.

Looks good for laptop users but that's about it. I'm running an i5 760 @ 4.0 Ghz and still won't upgrade until they fix the stupid thermal issues.
