I own the 840 non pro. I dont regret getting it. by the time it dies it will of been replaced. read speeds are great write speeds are a little slow compaired to the pro but it reads 90% of the time.

I still play most days my game choices have changed a lot though. I played MMOs and fps games a lot been playing world of tanks a lot lately. I enjoy it because I can jump on for 10 min or several hours it has no real time requirements....

I got mine from Amazon two 4gig sticks. Applied for credit card gave me 30 dollar amazon card. Paid 1.43 for them then cancled the credit card. Both of my sticks were manufactured the same week.
