i can tell you that after installing the ac ttp on my 6950 ref, my temps dropped around 20c and noise level went way down. however, vrm temps went up a bit.

ya... i used the really long heatsink from the ttp and i put some enzotech vram sinks on the other 4. i think my vid card gpu temp is around 66c and my vrm temp is around 66c also. this is from testing using kombustor.

i use a custom fan profile. 100% fan speed is around 74c

reviews i've read about the setsugen are not so positive.

it's definitely the 2 monitors. the same thing happpens to me. it also stays high on if i leave a browser tab open on youtube, as well.

i don't think you can tri-fire the 6850.

they stuck quite well, except for the 2 smaller vrm mosfets. those didn't stick as well as i wanted.

i plugged it into the card header. i've used a custom fan profile on sapphire trixx. i've also changed the vrm heatsinks to enzotech mos-c1. not sure if it was really worth the $11, but it dropped the load temps around 1 or 2c's.
