I imagine this will be more like a floating joystick. Similar if you have ever used the Novint Falcon. It will accelerate the closer to the edge it gets.

Speaking from a performance perspective, since it will be a closed hardware system couldn't they just code direct to metal therefor squeezing out much more performance with minimal overhead? So the low end GPU would perform quite admirably
