I would try pushing it further.... I just picked up a 555BE X2 about a week ago and was surprised at how well these CPUs OC.... I went straight for the 20x multi and just worked on the voltage for a few minutes to get it stable (1.45V)...

It's been updated. Everything is working properly now. For some reason the updates don't install automatically, I was not aware of this issue, so now I'll keep my eye out for updates. Sorry for the downtime guys.

That looks like a pretty good system for the price. The CPU you selected is pretty decent, but go for the BE if you can find one.
I had this happen to me twice. The first time the PC didn't turn off it just flickered and my network card never worked again. The second time it was just the PSU. I would test all the components in another system if you can.
I'm thinking of going with the bong method myself. I'm on air cooling right now and I hate having my rig on because it makes the room so damn hot.
