I had catalyst driver 12.8 for a while. When I would boot my computer in the morning it would sometimes have horizontal tearing. It didn't happen while gaming, instead, the screen would tear dramatically even for the littlest of things...

About $1,200 for all the hardware. It was totally worth it. It's a year old and it can still play everything I throw at it on highest settings.

I tried all of that. It's definitely not the drivers. I must have have received a dud from newegg. 2nd time in a week this has happened. Never buying from them again!
