BUT...................did you try install it on xp ?
What i did was clicking on the green dot on the Disable column to turn it red so it was blocking Firefox. The options you have in the program are to set Priority of the programs Low or High and to Disable a program. The program increased my Call of Duty ping to 40 with high priority and 55-75 with low priority. My ping without the program is 25-30 so i unnistalled this piece of crap I have 100Mbps internet so i can't really tell you how good the program is since...
Works on my Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 with Realtek 8111D network card. Tested by blocking Firefox with it. The software use WinpkFilter (Windows Packet Filter Kit) http://www.ntkernel.com/w&p.php?id=7 so i think it will work on other motherboards also

@tjwurzburger: You have 3.1 revision wich come with AM3+ socket. The majority of us have revision 2.0, 2.1 wich come with AM3 socket so that's why we have other bioses. You can see the diferences here : http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3781#bios Chose other version under mb name to se the avaiable bios for each revision.
Well there is a problem upgrading because till september we will not know for sure if they don't change the 990 chipset to fix new cpu instability. I prefer to wait and be sure than sorry.Anyway AMD has said that the new cpus will work on AM3 socket but they will not be officially supported.
I have just read on bitech that the new amd cpus might be delayed till september because they are unstable http://www.bit-tech.net/news/hardware/2011/05/31/rumour-am3-cpus-delayed-until-september/1 If the rumors gets real it will be a very bad moment to buy new motherboard
