I would like to see more people benchmarking with Blender/Cycles, especially with CUDA GPUs (and OpenCL, if the devs ever get it working); a good benchmark for Cycles is available here.

Any 7970 or 7970Ghz with a reference PCB should work fine with 7970 waterblocks, and since you won't be using the stock cooler, a completely reference card may be the cheapest.

I would probably go for the Fractal, personally; I like their styling, and they're good quality, plus it has front panel USB3 ports. The Vulcan can mount a 200mm side fan, which can be quite nice, but that's pretty much its only advantage.
