Someone said CAB2E was a bad stepping? Alot of people place it over CABYE. 3GHz at that low of voltage is pretty good. I can prime as low as 1.6ish but I'm not exactly stable in games. Random crashes and such. Good luck!
Forget about it. There's no 1GB modules out there that can hit that speed. I'm not sure if you're a gamer or not, but if you are you should already be fully aware that you really need 2GB's. The only kits out there CURRENTLY AVAILABLE...
If everything matches up as an E4 I'd think it was. Box number, CPU-Z and such. I've never seen a KACAE stepping, but in this one Spanish forum I was reading (more like looking) the top overclock was of a KACE stepping, and I'd say it...
Hmm, from what I've read CABGE is the worst stepping you can get. Usually they max out at around 2.8GHz, if you get higher you'll be lucky. I guess it all depends on the week...
Frequency, but running a 2T Command rate will lower performance quite a bit. If you can get those speeds on a 1T Command rate you'd be the best off.
As far as the CPU is concerned you're almost guaranteed 2.8 GHz. As far as I know, all of the E4 steppings are good for that on after market coolers and even stock coolers for the most part. I haven't checked the Opteron pricing lately,...
Only the best air cooler on the market! Mine took my 7800 to 600 MHz at 1.72 and I can't break 60 degrees celcius!
Yes, I'm having issues finding some the resources I had gotten this from. I can find a few on Google, but they are dead links. The only benefit of the E6 is that it will run at lower voltages at stock and they revised the memory...
At 500/1200 I broke 9,000. I still haven't run it with my volt mod. 600/1400. I'm hoping to get 10,000, if I don't I lose a dollar...
The latest versions of ATi Tool work just fine with nVidia cards. I suggest setting your memory clock to stock and then set ATi Tool to run "Find max core." for an hour or so. Ignore the beeps that's the program letting you...
