This is going to be an expensive PC. I wouldn't settle for an outdated GTX580, instead I'd go after a Titan or a GTX680.

What do you want to do with the PC? If it is gaming, which games do you plan on playing? This will help determine what hardware you need. What is your budget?

An average user does not use Java on a day-to-day basis. They do, however, use Javascript.
