The one you chose will only do 1920x1080....it will still work just won't be able to go to the monitors maximum resolution

Its just a plate you put on the 3 way SLI bridge (also get some adhesive tape to stick it on) ......if you dont have a 3 way SLI bridge you can find them cheap online
