I'm ashamed to admit it, but I picked up a used iPad 3 thanks to a killer deal on Craigslist about 6 months ago. This is some nice hardware, but I definitely miss tinkering with the TP and how open the software was.

I can attest to the UAG case being excellent. I bought a white one when I owned a GS3 and when they were first released (at $35) and it served me very well. In fact, I think I still own it even though I don't have a GS3 any more......

I went with the DNA over the note largely because I'm no a fan with Samsung's S3/Note 2 OLED technology. The S4 seems to be an improvement, but LCDs seem a bit more polished at this point (though I'm sure OLED is the wave of the future).

My biggest beef with the Note II is its size. I'm all for 'bigger is better' (I currently have a DNA), but the Note is just outside of my range of ideal portability.

The GS3 is the last phone with an OLED display I'll buy until the technology has greatly improved.

Reading this review has produced two things for me: 1. The urge to fornicate with an inanimate object. 2. An extremely jealous and envious Droid DNA in my pocket. Thank you, Verizon, for jumping on board with the wrong phone. I fart...
