Success! I downloaded the 64 bit version of the drivers and then went through the device manager/sounds/recording/rightclick/show disabled devices/ properties/ enable mixer and everything now appears to be working correctly. Odd...
Here is what I found at the Realtek site: Is the "hidef audio codecs" what I want? Nothing says drivers on any of the downloads.
Correct, it does not show the Realtek device in the device manager. Where should I go to get a driver specifically for it? The onboard audio is actually functioning, but obviously something is not right.
Thanks for the suggestion Blameless. Here is what I get when I right click in the recording tab. It does not enable any other options beyond this. If you keep on being helpful instead of a PITA I guess I might have to unblock you.
Hi BIll, thanks for the input. Device manager shows onboard audio and GPU audio both working fine. Yet when I look at the recording tab it still shows no devices. I did manage to get a program to record from internet stream finally....
