I predict the prices for the Radeon 7870 will drop after the release of the GTX660. The best deal right now would be the Radeon 7850, other than that you should wait and compare the Radeon 7870 with the GTX 660(ti). Edit: I bought the...
Yep my temps are below 35C on idle. Other people with the same card are experiencing this as well... http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2248957 http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/355719-33-sapphire-trixx-vddc I guess I'll...

Yep, your GPU is dying. Artifacts, crashing, etc. are obvious symptoms. I had a Radeon 4870 ~3 years old, and on wake up I would get artifacts and weird lines on the screens. All I had to do was restart and everything would be normal.
I'm using GPU-Z. I'm not exactly increasing the voltage. By default, on idle the voltage is 0.825 and that is when the clocks are 300 core and 150 memory, but when running a 3d program the voltage increases to 1.138 and the clocks...
Woah, those are cheap. Typo mabye?
120fps? BF3? Alright, IMO for the GPU you should get the Radeon 7970 in crossfire because it scores higher than gtx 680 x2 and the gtx 690. For the CPU, test out your current i7 2600 and if you feel like it is getting a little below...
Whenever I overclock using the Sapphire Trixx software my voltage remains constant at 1.138 even at idle. I even tried unchecking the "Disable ULPS" box, but nothing changed. Should I be worried if it is constant? Will it decrease my...
Update: I pushed my core to 1100 and memory to 1350 and in 3Dmark11 I achieved the same graphics score as the Radeon 7870 ;graphics score was 6242 Is there a way I can disable constant voltage in Sapphire Trixx? Whenever I overclock...
In CCC the max overclock for core is 1050, but in trixx its way above that but the problem is that it forces constant voltage. Nonetheless I'll try pushing higher than 1050. As far as overclocking my processor goes I can't go above...
