Does anyone have any idea?
I am having problem running three monitors (1600x1200) at the same time from this board. I have 3570K. When I have all 3 hooked up, the one with HDMI does not work. It appears in the windows monitor settings, but only as a little...
I measured this (power consumption of the whole PC, substracted 20% losses at PSU, idle at 1600MHz in all cases): 3570K Default: Idle 68W, IBT 118W 45x at 1,25V: Idle 73W, IBT 160W, CNB 126W, Prime small FFTs 138W 46x at 1,30V: Idle...
I had similar issue, it was caused by an old version of the CPU-Z software, the new one reports the frequency correctly. You do not need to touch any power saving functions! You also do not disable Turbo. You set turbo for your desired...
Erm... And what are you people going to do, if Intel starts to solder them and offer to swap old paste ones for the new ones? Or if they will introduce new model, specially selected soldered chips? You will just waste few hundred dolars.
It is not stable! at 1.22 is seems stable so far...
Well, I have properly checked stability only of 4.6 GHz at 1.25V. 4.5 at 1.20 right now crashed Fritz chess. 4.8 crashed Cinebench, I wonder If it was not caused by having PPL overvoltage on Auto and not Enabled.
Just a quick incomplete comparison:
I turned HT off and I got 118. This is weird. I thought HT brings cca 20% IMPROVEMENT in performance!
Can 106 vs 100 be caused just by memory frequency - 1866 vs. 1600?
