Could try just a simple gpu cooler reseat before spending money going to aftermarket coolers. Mine idles at 32-33 degrees comfortably all day long.

On the Z77 board is that 6 pin power for the on-board VGA or more power to the PCI-E lanes. Must have moar power!

Only seen it down clock when it doesn't need to use all its power, ie. a spawn screen in BF3 otherwise when its needed I've not seen it downclock.

Still trying to learn the ways of overclocking these cards, its defibately not like Fermi and thanks everyone.
