4.6ghz causes a bottleneck? I didn't check memory usage - so maybe it was going over 2gb vram hence the performance dropped.

These benches seem odd. I'm running SLI 670's 1290/1880 3570K 4.6Ghz at 1080p and the screenss below show my settings and I get 35-45fps. Using the latest NV Drivers too.
