Hey everyone, I bought Skyrim on Saturday in the Steam Summer Sale as it was going for a bargain that I couldn't resist , but I haven't played it yet because I'm waiting for my GTX 560 Ti to be delivered back to me (hopefully a new one)...
Yeah I have basically the same at 4.5 GHz but I'm running it at 1.288V as the max voltage and haven't had any crashes so far Try it
Oh yeah, also I've only just got this cooler and so the thermal paste hasn't been on for very long, and I've heard once it settles in you get cooler temperatures
Well I haven't properly stress tested it yet but I will leave it at this for now and use it while gaming and if there's any system lock-ups then I'll know I need to increase the voltage a bit
I will take it off and have a look but I know there's a good amount of paste in there but I've got a bit left over so if I do need to apply some more then that's not a problem Also, I've set the offset voltage to - 0.040 and I'm...
Ah okay thanks for the quick replies, and I've ran a quick Prime95 test and the highest temp I saw was 75 degrees. Is this temperature okay?
Okay, I've been playing with the offset voltages and I'm running it at - 0.035 and the voltage goes up to a maximum of 1.312V, could I get this any lower or should I stay at this setting. Also, CPU-Z is saying the bus speed is at 99.9...
Wow thanks for that great reply, this is why I like using the overclock.net forums Anyway, I set those settings in my BIOS now and I'll let you know what the results are
Okay, how do I use the offset voltages?
I already have those enabled :L
