2gb is fine. what can have a great effect on memory use is screen resolution. at 1080p, 2gb will be fine.

this is rather unclear. which LED's aren't showing? fans? power? case lighting? if its power/hdd, those go directly into the motherboard header designed for them. if its fans, then the power is carried by the same molex or 3 pin...
